Common First Class Questions

  • Our trainers modify every exercise to your current ability. You set your own pace within the supportive group environment. We encourage you to ask questions and request modifications as needed. Our programming is scalable so that you can feel successful and challenged alongside someone who’s been doing this for 8+ years.

  • Not only is the workout written on the board (so you don’t have to memorize it) but we demonstrate everything and provide step-by-step instruction. There is no prerequisite to starting to train with us.

Not feeling ready to dive straight into classes? We also offer a Personal Training Assessment ($75) that can be completed anytime during your first month with us. This 50 minute, one-on-one session includes a movement analysis, skill-building, and goal-setting to ensure you’re starting your fitness journey on the right foot and learn enough of the lingo, tools, movement patterns, etc to feel confident stepping into class.

Just let us know and we’ll get you set up.

  • Take as many breaks as you need. Especially for your first class, we want you to go at your own pace. Always prioritize listening to your body and let us know if at any point you need a modification, feel lightheaded, or need to step away.

  • We’ve all been there before. Our community celebrates everyone's fitness journey. You'll find encouragement and support from both trainers and fellow members. Everyone who takes our classes remembers their first class and will be happy to help you out as will our coaches.
